This is a list of Endangered, Threatened, or Special Concern species within Ontario, that could possibly exist in our area.  Should you spot any of these species within an 8 to 10 kilometer range of the Strada Quarry, please be sure to add it to iNaturalist and add it to the NHIC project.

The NHIC project is the official project of the Natural Heritage Information Centre (NHIC), Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF). By adding endangered species observations to this project, you will help the MNR realize that there is a lot more at risk than what they currently think there is.  This is an extremely important project in order to protect and preserve our environment.  The MNRF is seriously under-funded and need us to help them protect and maintain our precious environment.

To learn how to do this, please visit our iNaturalist and Seek page. iNaturalist and Seek are free apps that allow us to document species.  This is another way you can help to stop the quarry and save our environment.

Please keep in mind that not all species may be listed here and we will add more as we find out about them.
